Ladyfinger has created and toured numerous award-winning solo and ensemble performances. Thematically inspired by divas, lamenters, lullaby makers and monsters, the works are based on articulating the female experience and imaginary. Autotopographical in nature, they are devised over years and informed by somatic inquiry, extended vocal techniques and perceptual practices. Creative development currently includes To Sit With Death Awhile, a performance installation, and Quiet Songs, a choral concert for restitution.Ladyfinger run an annual performance makingl retreat to assist other artists create new, original works, called Transforming Life Experience.
